This patented process allows the MSW to be easily
separated into valuable
recyclables and cellulose that can be
used to manufacture a variety of paper products.
The separated steel, aluminum and recycled plastics are
cleaned and sterilized by the process improving their value in the
existing recyclables markets.
- Biomass/Cellulose - a major percentage of MSW consists of
cellulose, and it can be used as a raw material in a variety of
cardboard and paper products.
- Research and Development (R&D) continues on additional
technologies to transform MSW into renewable energy products such as
ethanol and co-generated electricity.
